The Auriol is our largest drone to date: with a maximum takeoff weight of 25kg, it is the perfect solution for logistics applications. Its size and potential load capacity make it particularly suitable for heavy payloads and long ranges.
The Auriol: record-breaking and powerful
Our largest drone to date sets new standards in the UAV sector. With a maximum take-off weight of 25kg, it enables a wide range of application scenarios that require more payload. It thus makes full use of the framework for flight permits in the open and specific categories. Enough power reserves guarantee the highest possible level of safety and reliability.
Whether for the delivery of urgently needed medicines, the integration of special sensors or an almost infinite number of other applications: the Auriol is the solution. It was originally developed for the DUBGEM project, for which a particularly heavy sensor for radioactive radiation (a so-called gamma spectrometer) was to be integrated with a UAS.
The system is named after the legendary French pilot Jaqueline Auriol, who was the first European to break the sound barrier in 1953. Just like her namesake, our Auriol wants to set new records!
Strength & Endurance
Due to its size and redundant eight engines, the Auriol is ready for long flight times and high payloads: up to 6.5kg payload can be transported and flight times of up to 45 minutes can be achieved (depending on the respective payload). Automated operation is also possible with the Auriol – routes can be flown in regular operation.
